Stuart Hope

Stuart earned a BS degree in Insurance from the University of South Carolina and holds both the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Certified Aviation Insurance Professional (CAIP) designations. He serves on the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Tax Committee / Insurance Sub-Committee where he is a frequent speaker and author on insurance and risk management topics. He also serves as Finance Chair of the Richland County Conservation Commission. In addition, he is an Airline Transport Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor.

In 2006, he completed both the SC Governor's Cup half-marathon and Kiawah Island full marathon. He enjoys the outdoors, running, karaoke, and the beatings he takes in the sim trying to stay current in the company Cessna 340.

He is married to Heidi Darr-Hope, a professional artist, who created the Arts in Healing Program for Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital's Center for Cancer Treatment and Research..
