Mena Hope Gardiner

Mena, a licensed private pilot, attended Clemson University and graduated with a BS degree in insurance from the University of South Carolina. She earned her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1997 and was awarded the Certified Aviation Insurance Professional (CAIP) designation in 2005. Mena has served as Secretary/Treasurer of the Corporation since 1980.
In October of 1995, Mena ran the Chicago Marathon with the Leukemia Society’s Team in Training. She is an active member of Shandon Methodist Church and enjoys tennis, reading, traveling and gardening.

Mena is married to David Gardiner, a property/casualty insurance adjuster. Together they have two sons, Parks and Alex. She is an active volunteer in the Columbia area.
